Webfluential Employee Feature_Ayanda Twitter - @Yanda_M We’re a technology company that has some talented individuals; each play a huge role in bringing our tech, service, brand and vision to life. Our regular monthly feature aims to introduce you to some of the incredible people at Webfluential. Today we’re featuring one of our sales rockstars here on #TeamWebfluential. Meet our Junior Sales Rep, Ayanda!

Hi Ayanda! Tell us a little about yourself.

First and foremost, I am a child of God. I’m also a bit of a drama queen, a newborn health freak and gym junkie, a family-over-everything kind of person, and a traveller at heart who has a massive phobia for cats. Overall, I’m a lover of life!

What inspired you to come work with #TeamWebfluential?

I’m a brand fanatic. I enjoy building and moulding brands to make them top of mind for consumers. Webfluential stood out for me because it’s a fun environment and an appealing business model. What makes Webfluential unique is how it tells different stories through real people. For me, that’s a brilliant concept. I also wanted to learn more about influencer marketing and how it contributes to the marketing mix as a whole.

What’s the one thing you want to tick off your achievements list in the next 5 years?

*Moment of silence* I never think that far! Plans have a way of reformatting every now and then. I rather think short-term. I will have my Masters Degree in Brand Intelligence in 5 years, that’s for sure.

If you could have dinner with any three people in the world, who would they be and what would you order?

Michelle Obama Tyler Perry Shonda Rhimes   I’d first want to know who’s making dinner and what their speciality is. Otherwise, if it’s a regular menu, then mixed seafood pasta or a prawn curry makes my belly happy.

Webfluential A-Team Employee Spotlight – Tumelo aka StumZA

Twitter - @Stum_ZA We’re a technology company that has some talented individuals who each play a huge role in bringing our tech, service, brand and vision to life. Our regular monthly feature aims to showcase and introduce you to some of these incredible people at Webfluential. Our next feature is on our ‘influencer whisperer’ here at #TeamWebfluential, please meet one of our Campaign Managers, Tumelo! Picture1 1) Hi Tumelo! Please tell us a little about yourself in two sentences Tumelo is obviously a tech/digital enthusiast, I’m a hip hop nerd - super fan of the music. I’m a good freestyler too actually! In short - I’m a student of life, always learning new things. Yeah that’s me in two sentences haha!   2) What inspired you to come work with #TeamWebfluential? I was doing a Digital Marketing internship at Livity Africa called Digify Pro, and Webfluential was looking for some young blood to come and join the A-team! They called a few of us in for an interview and it so happened that I was a blogger at the time, I guess that was one of the advantages I had. I’ve always had a passion for the blogging industry but I had no idea how Influencer Marketing worked or how this platform was able to connect brands with influencers, so yes there was an element of blurriness and curiosity at the same time, but I knew that I always wanted this more than anything in the world.   3) What is the one thing you hope to accomplish in the next five years? To make the #MGYoung200 list haha! Nah man, more than anything I just want to add value to both the global tech and digital industries.   4) If you could have dinner with any three people in the world, who would they be and what would you order? That’s easy! Michael Jordan, Will Smith and Tasneem Mia (one of my colleagues) actually. We’d have pizza!

The Tour de France 2016 takes place from the 2nd of July until the 24th. Consisting of 3500km and 2 or 3 time trials. The race moves through some of the most beautiful scenery including Megève in the Alps before finishing in the streets of Paris. At the end of each stage the Yellow Jersey is awarded to the leading rider of the General Classification. While not all of us can compete in #LeTour - we can definitely talk about it online. Using Webfluential’s tracking tools we’ll monitor social conversation around #LeTour and #TDF2016  each day for the 22 days. We’ll be awarding the Webfluential Yellow Jersey at the end of each day to the most influential person in the online conversation. The metric we used to determine the most Influential account for the day is the person who had the top retweet reach. This shows the size of the audience that the content reached. Congratulations to @CaracolDeportes, our latest Webfluential Yellow Jersey for the Most Influential account managing to maintain its lead from Day 4 right through to Day 17 of Le Tour de France. Tour de France-11   In the third week our focus shifted to the Tour de France participating teams. Using each teams handles as well as the official hashtag #TDF2016 we tracked which team had the most influential account.
